Life lessons I learned from rap music.

Rap music is not just one of my friends but also is one of my teachers. The reason I say rap music is my teacher is because the lyrics in rap song are more than words, and those are real experiences of rappers. Some of these events are really happened to them, some are happening in front of their eyes. Therefore, their rap song are experiences about the truths, the facts about the life that we will never going to learn from school. "Be good or be good at it” – No Love, Eminem feat Lil’ Wayne. this one is one of my favorite lines. The quote seemed a little bit "bad boy" , but I understand it as meaning something positive, if you are good at something in life, you can afford yourself a better life.

Music gives me motivation

I bet nobody is not listening to music entire of the life. Music has large impact and also is one of the the biggest inventions of humans. To me, personally, I am listening to music about 3 hours every day. I feel like music is a part of my life. Music gives me motivation when I am working out or studying. Music take role as a coach in my life. For example, it always helps me to break my limit in working out. Helping me run additional 1 more mile. Sometimes, music helps me to focus on my homework. When I am in bad mood music is my friend, always beside me to help me feel better. In conclusion, music takes an important role in human's life. Imagine the world without music, how boring life could be if there is no music?

Artists use music to express their emotion, if there is no music, imagine the world of people who has no feeling. If it really happens, the world would be really scary and lonely.

The song indicates a man who is frustrated about his life. He just want to give up anything and get drunk to forget about the life, but in the same time, he feels bad for his mother and his wife. He wants to give up all his responsibilities to go wander. His excuse for his action is because he is still young and the earth is so big there are many places he has never been.

How did I find out about rap !

When I was 14 years old at that time, like all of my friends, I was young and want to be cool at school. At that time, wearing a hip-hop hat or baggy clothing was consider as a cool kid. Looking at other kids, I thought it would be cool also, so I asked my mom to buy me the same clothing as them. Unfortunately, my family was having some troubles with money, so she did not agree to purchase me. I was upset and kept asking for the shirt that I wanted. After so many times I asked for the shirt, I finally gave up and started to go on the internet to look up something maybe better than hip-hop clothing. This is how I found out about hip-hop music: rap. I thought it was so cool because how the words are used to rhyme together in a song. I even saw a post on the internet that said R.A.P meaning, Read A Poem.
